This is a great tip for separating calendar invites from other emails to ensure they are not missed — I prefer to have a few additional labels, for instance, a dedicated one to track newsletters.
The issue with inboxes is that access is open to anyone who has our email address, so the more control we have, the better.
Thank you for sharing your system, Anton, and for the mention!
I use a completely dedicated tool for newsletters (Meco), so I don't have them in my Inbox, as I feel they require a very different consuming experience :)
I definitely agree with the controlling - the more senior you are, the more shit arrives at your inbox...
I find this quite helpful and really a helpful treat although I usually work on my mobile using the Gmail app but find it challenges to stop all this unwanted emails flooding it but if I may ask how can one be able to do this using the method mention in your post or if you have any helpful opinion on advice that I would appreciate thanks so much
My question is how can anyone be able to apply your earlier post to clean their gmail inbox via the mobile app because not everyone has access to a pc or desktop, just curious to know thanks
hmmm I think the cleaning better be done from the Computer, I think most people can find access for 10 minutes. Then the keeping up with it can be easily done from the phone.

Tell me how many emails you receive, and I'll tell you who you are 🙃
For some time now, I have tried to follow the Zero inbox policy both in email and Slack. And it's great!
After the initial setup of filtering rules, it is easy to maintain and saves a ton of time.
I think people underestimate how useful it can be, I'm trying to convince some people to try it out for years :)

I confirm that such a system works!
If you start working on the email later, consider doing it this way: https://www.leadinginproduct.com/p/how-to-manage-tasks-as-a-product
Discovering the Archive button in Gmail quite literally changed my life.
Thanks for sharing this with others, Anton!
