This is brilliant, Anton. You’ve beautifully captured the experience of stepping out of the drama triangle. My favorite part of recognizing I am in the drama is the inner peace it brings.
The section on orientation resonates deeply; it’s a reminder of self-fulfilling prophecies—you attract what you focus on. I’m so proud of you for not only applying the lesson but sharing it so thoughtfully.
Oh my! This is a great post and exactly what I needed. The examples you gave were very real and relatable!
As I read, all the different situations came to mind where I (or some people around me) have been playing "victim". Putting these labels, made it easy to identify the problems and think about solutions.
Nice write-up! In these situations I find myself often helping people understand where the other party is coming from. Most of the time it makes the conversation a lot easier, definitely agree that it plays an important role and that people struggle with it quite often.
I simplified it a bit for the article. One of the things he promised was much more complex, so I let them know that this one will take a while, but the other 4 were shipped by Wednesday :)

Thanks for your help with this one Taha! Appreciate the pointers in the right direction, even if it took me a while to apply them :)
I felt my heartbeat increase just from reading the message from the PM at the start.
Great article, Taha and Anton!
Thanks for the shoutout for my "tiny thoughts".
Mine still haven’t gone down 😂😂

Thank you Suresh! Glad it was helpful :)
Also the storytelling was spot on. Very engaging and impactful.
Excellent article! I’d used it somewhat at work but it’s refreshing to see it illustrated so well
Thank you Gaurav! :)

Yeah, that’s the best way to get out of it. It’s not easy though to detached when you are angry.
TIL about the Karpman drama triangle, nice writing Anton!
Thak you! It's an interesting concept :)
I learned some interesting concepts from this article!
The key is moving from a victim to a creator mindset (focusing on the solution, not the problem).
I agree. A simple change, but very hard to execute!
Amazing article 🫡
So much relatable
Wanted to know what happened on the wednesday timeline, was it shipped 😅
Thank you Shivam! :)
